Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Accomee ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Mee Group. By creating an account or using Accomee, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can use Accomee

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use Accomee. You must provide accurate information about yourself and your business when creating an account.

2. What Accomee does

Accomee helps you scan and organize receipts and invoices, extract data using automated text recognition, track income and expenses, and generate GST-related summaries and exports. Accomee is a bookkeeping aid, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.

3. No guarantee of accuracy

Automated data extraction (OCR) is not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any data before confirming it into your ledger. Accomee does not guarantee that extracted or summarized data is complete, accurate, or suitable for GST filing or any other regulatory purpose. We strongly recommend having a qualified Chartered Accountant or tax professional review your records and any filings before submission to tax authorities.

4. AI Coach

Accomee includes an AI Coach that answers plain language questions about bookkeeping and GST, and, if you opt in, can reference a summary of your own business's numbers to make its answers more relevant. The AI Coach is not a Chartered Accountant, does not provide legal, tax, or filing advice, and its answers should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice or as the basis for a GST filing or tax decision. Always confirm anything that affects a filing or return with a qualified professional.

5. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the business and financial information you enter or confirm in Accomee.
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable tax laws, including GST filing deadlines and requirements.
  • You must not use Accomee for any unlawful purpose, or to store or process data you do not have the right to process.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

6. Fees and plans

Accomee may offer free and paid plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees applicable to that plan. Fees, where charged, are described at the time of purchase. We will give reasonable notice of any pricing changes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accomee and Mee Group are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to penalties, interest, or losses arising from incorrect GST filings, missed deadlines, or errors in extracted or summarized data. Accomee is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

8. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or if required by law. You may stop using Accomee and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Accomee evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice inside the app. Continued use of Accomeeafter changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Accomee will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra, India.
